Marked walks will take you inland towards the medieval town of Vejer de la Frontera or along clifftops to the fishing town of Barbate. Perfect at any time of the year.

Sport

Los Caños de Meca is an ideal destination for nature and sports enthusiasts. Just a few steps from Hotel Madreselva, you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities: surfing, foiling, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, kayaking, open water swimming, and much more. There is a dedicated bike trail from the hotel either to Zahara or Conil, safe for all the family. Rental equipment, bikes and riding stables are all nearby. Adventure awaits you!

Beaches

Just meters from the hotel, you’ll find some of the most spectacular beaches in the province of Cádiz, with fine sand and crystal-clear waters.

Los Caños has three main beaches, separated by rocky sections and cliffs. Pirata Beach (pictured, in front of the hotel), ideal for families, is known for its beach bars, sunsets with music, and stunning evening skies. La Cortina Beach, a popular spot for nudism, offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Lastly, Marisucia Beach, surrounded by dunes, is a favorite among surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, and foil enthusiasts. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset and let yourself be captivated by the magic of this unique place.

Culture

Beyond its beaches, Los Caños de Meca offers an immersion in Andalusian culture. Take a stroll through the charming medieval village of Vejer, visit the Phoenician ruins near the Trafalgar lighthouse, savour the renowned Almadraba tuna, or enjoy live music at sunset.
